Our Vendor Integrated Partnership (VIP) Program is an integral part of what we do at Brighton Cromwell.
Our company was initially founded as a distributor to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) marketplace specializing in kits, made-to-print items (MTP), and older, harder-to-find naval components. As the company matured, it became recognized as a value-added distributor of military-specific spare parts in the DLA aftermarket.
To fuel its growth, Brighton Cromwell began working closely with key suppliers to analyze their current market share, better understand their full capabilities, and identify areas where they could potentially sell existing or new products in federal markets. This proved to be an immediate success, and Customized Distribution Services (CDS) became a core piece of Brighton Cromwell’s business, forming the backbone of what is now known as the VIP program.
Working closely with VIPs, Brighton Cromwell creates customized strategies to manage and grow the military aftermarket for key suppliers and partners.
An assigned account representative from Brighton Cromwell works closely with each of these VIPs on a daily basis to ensure that all expectations are exceeded and all processes are done properly.
The first step is to create a profile to identify opportunities that match the vendors’ capabilities. This profile is managed within the proprietary SEDNASearch™ system and helps ensure that these key vendors see every opportunity in a timely manner.
Every day, SEDNASearch™ imports requirements from numerous U.S. Government ordering activities (including but not limited to DIBBS, ASFI, NECO, and FedBizOps) and screens them against all partner profiles. Brighton Cromwell account representatives work aggressively to secure awards for their VIP accounts. Brighton Cromwell also provides customized distribution services to select leading manufacturers supporting the U.S. Department of Defense and foreign military parts aftermarkets.
